Monday prayer

Loving God, help us to love our land but hate no other.

Help us to love and appreciate our heritage and our traditions but to understand and respect the beliefs of others.

Help us to bring love and understanding where there is hatred and suspicion.

Protect our nation and all who live here.

May the stranger find the warmth of family with us. May the refugee find safety among us.

May all who are vulnerable or in need know protection and kindness through us.

May the Cross of Scotland be a symbol of love, friendship, hope, justice and compassion for all.

St. Andrew, pray for us.
