Friday prayer

In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Loving and Generous God,

help us to appreciate the work of those

who keep us going through this time - 

those who stack shelves in our shops 

and those who deliver food to our homes;

those who collect and recycle our rubbish;

those who spend extra and long hours

keeping our hospitals clean.

We thank you, too, for our parents and carers

and for all who keep us safe.

Help us always to be grateful

for everything we have.
